Best Friends

These pictures are very blurry but there are probably my favorite photos of the girls. It really is neat to watch their relationship grow through the years.

I have to admit I am a bit jealous of them too. They have a built in best friend!

Ready for Spring!

The weather was beautiful yesterday so we ventured outside to play for a little bit.

Aiden was happy to hang out in his exersaucer

We did plenty of running (and falling)
Created a few chalk art masterpieces
Competed in a few scooter and cart races

Played up the fact that we could not possibly be any cuter

Found the last few piles of snow to jump in...
And picked the first few spring flowers

Can't wait for Spring!!

Feeling Better

In the past week we have been dealing with an icky stomach bug that just didn't know when to quit. I could have bought stock in Lysol and gingerale or "gingerbread" as Alyssa calls it.

I think we have finally turned the corner though and the girls seem to be back to their normal, happy (yet slightly bratty!) selves.

46 Weeks Old!

The biggest update lately is that our little man has found the stairs. He was already up a few by the time I caught up to him and quite proud to add another trick to his book.

Here are a few photos from the past week from home and daycare.

Teaching him how to wash dishes!
Hanging out with his best buddy

Sweet baby boy... love those cheeks!

My Cooking

A little conversation between me and Ms. Alyssa at dinner last night:

A: Mommy, you make the best dinners!

Me: Thanks Alyssa. What did I make the best for dinner tonight?

A: Well, you made really good bread and oranges.

Me: You don't think Mommy cooked the rest of the food good?

A: No, I don't like it but I really like my oranges that you made.

Ummm... yeah! Makes me question why I even bother cooking. :-)

10 Months Old!

There is really only one word to describe you lately and that is BUSY! These were taken right after I found that you had opened the kitchen cabinet and started taking everything out.

Caught ya!

The Gift Of A Brother

To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time.
