Ronald McDonald And The French Fry House

A few pictures from the blurry camera (or should I say camera operator?)

The weather was beautiful yesterday so we played outside for a while when we got home. The girls were happy to run around and dig in the dirt. They informed me that they were going to find worms, spiders, and snakes. Can you imagine? They are clearly not my children. :-)

Doesn't Kaylee look so happy here? That seemed to be the mood of the day yesterday for her. We were in the car on the way home and she told Alyssa "I don't like you. You are not my friend." I calmly explained that we don't say unkind things like that to each other because it hurts feelings and we want everyone to be happy not sad. Alyssa agreed that she liked to be happy but Kaylee wasn't having it. I asked her if she liked to be happy or sad and she stated very seriously "I like to be maaad." No surprises there little one. :-)

K&A got to see Ronald McDonald for the first time the other weekend. At the "French Fry House." They were very excited to climb on him and check him out.

6 Month Check Up

Aiden had his 6 month check up and shots yesterday. He weighed 17 pounds, 8 ounces (normal range) and 28 1/2 inches long (95th percentile). The doc said he was the length of a 9 month old. That would explain why he fits better in the 9 month clothes already. Other than that, he got a good report and as usual the doctor informed him that he "liked his hairstyle."

He did not like the shots at all. He started crying so hard that he stopped making noise. Luckily, he did not scream all the way home like last time and slept peacefully the whole way.

Weekend Photos

We took it easy this weekend in hopes that everyone would continue to stay healthy. The weekend flew by as usual though.

Kaylee came up with all of these "poses" on her own. She likes to do different poses and then come to see how she looked. We may be in trouble with this one!

FlashBack

The past 2 weeks have been full of sickness in our house. Just as we thought we were getting over one thing, another illness would come along to take it's place. We have dealt with fevers, nasty colds, a touch of bronchitis, and lastly a stomach bug. It was our first experience with passing a sickness around and around and it wasn't one that I care to repeat anytime soon. I know... I know... we have 3 kids so we better be prepared. But, I really do hope we have a break for a few months at least! :-)

K&A both seemed to be feeling much better yesterday evening. It was one of the first days where they went all day without a low-grade fever and they were back into their normal routine of running around, playing, and of course, a little fighting. At one point, I mentioned that they should play Ring Around The Rosy and they were all for that idea. I grabbed my camera and tried to snap a few pictures of them but it wasn't easy trying to hold Aiden at the same time. I managed to get a few pics and as I was looking through them, I was reminded of this post from last summer. Amazing how much they have changed since then. You can still tell they are best friends though.

Little Ham

Alyssa wants nothing to do with the camera lately unless she is behind it with me. Kaylee on the other hand can't seem to stop cheesing for the camera. She says "Mommy, take my picture like this" and will do different poses.

And of course I am happy to oblige. :-)

Hand Me Ups?

I came home the other day and Alyssa was dressed in a pair of shorts that I didn't recognize as being hers. I looked closer and realized that they were Aiden's shorts. And not only were they Aiden's shorts... they were Aiden's shorts in size 3/6 months.

Don't ask me.... :-)

TGIF!

We have had a rough week in the Robles household this week as all 3 kids came down with colds and all sorts of other fun sicknesses. :-) Thankfully, I think we are on the way to everyone feeling 100% better. I took some pictures but forgot my camera at home so those will have to wait. I am so glad that the week is almost over and hopefully we will have a much better weekend.

Here is a picture of Kaylee and her drawing of a bumble bee:

She is very into drawing these days and last night she drew a picture of everyone in our family. We all looked like blobs with stick arms and legs but she was proud of her art work and I love the creativity that I see coming out more each day.

25 Weeks Old!

A few more days and this little one will be 6 months old. Unbelievable!

24 Weeks Old!

Here are a few photos from this past week. In the first one, he was dancing with Daddy. All of the kids like to listen to music and learn new dance moves from Tony. Aiden is right there along with them.

Unfortunately, all 3 of the kids are sick right now so Aiden is experiencing his first cold. He isn't sleeping well and does not like having a stuffy nose. It makes for one very cranky baby boy. Wonder where he gets that from? Hopefully they will all be feeling better soon.
