Princess Makeovers - Daddy Style!

I was busy doing stuff around the house last night so the girls asked Tony if he could do their make-up. Surprisingly, he agreed and they pulled out their new princess make-up kits and got busy!

Don't they look just beautiful?

Twins Again?

Alyssa got a hair cut yesterday and she couldn't be more excited to show it off. She was also pretty happy about how easy it was to brush last night. She was like "I am done? YIPEE!" and did a little dance around the room.

My apologies to everyone who used their hair length to easily tell them apart. They are back to looking like twins again. :-)

Last night, (after spending what seemed like hours getting them to clean their toys) they put on a little performance for me in their room. They sang and danced their version of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi." It was actually pretty good except they changed the lyrics just a tiny bit. I believe the new name of the song would be "Baby Roxy" instead of "Paparazzi." HaHa.

21 Months Old!

"Your FIRST child opens your eyes to the wonder of each new age, your LAST reminds you of its transience."

We are edging closer and closer to this little guy's 2nd birthday. Here is a photo of him playing with his cars (which makes Daddy very happy to watch).

I am choosing not to show the picture taken right after this, which involves Aiden holding a pink purse and blowing kisses to the camera. That doesn't make Daddy very happy at all. :-)

I'm A Big Boy Now!

Aiden got his first real hair cut this weekend. It is far from perfect but it was the best Tony could do through all of the screaming and thrashing that was going on. :-)

I love that he looks like such a little boy now. I have been crying for months about my last baby growing up. It was bad enough that the girls are almost 4 1/2 years old but I couldn't take the idea of not having a baby in the house anymore. My heart felt so heavy knowing that the infant/toddler stage would soon come to an end for our family.

But then Aiden will surprise me by saying a new word or showing off a new trick he learned from his sisters or friends at daycare. Or, I will walk into the playroom and see my big boy sitting there playing with his toys or even better... playing with his sisters.

And then I realize that all will be okay!!

My Favorite Gift...

Thinking of You
We thought of you with love today,
but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
and days before that too.
We think of you in silence,
we often speak your name.
All we have are memories,
and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
with which we will never part.
God has you in his keeping,
we have you in our hearts.
A million times we've wanted you.
A million times we've cried.
If love could only have saved you,
you never would have died.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
But you didn't go alone.
For a part of us went with you...
the day God called you home.

Merry Christmas 2010!

The kids must have been very good this year because Santa sure was good to them! But then again...so were their friends, grandparents, and aunts!

Now, we just have to figure out where to put all of this goodness!

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Santa Photo!

The girls were so excited to see Santa last night. They told him exactly what they wanted... a Barbie Dreamhouse for Kaylee and a Barbie Fashion Fairytale Doll for Alyssa. I guess we will see if their wishes come true on Christmas morning. :-)

There was a little someone who wasn't so pleased to see Santa... can you tell who?

Couldn't get him anywhere near Santa's lap. :-)
Merry Christmas!
