Happy 1st Birthday Aiden!

One year ago today...

We arrived at the hospital, so anxious and excited to meet our baby boy!

Then, after nine long months of waiting and dreaming...there, you were! We felt so blessed to welcome another healthy baby into the world and into our lives.

Aiden, words can't express the joy you have brought to our lives through the past year.

Your little smiles and giggles are so contagious!

The Tonka trucks and balls have brought such a wonderful contrast to all of the tiaras and Barbies scattered around the house.

We love to watch you chase your sisters around and to see them taking care of their "baby brudder".

Your sisters came along and made us a family. You came along and completed our family.

Hope you have a wonderful 1st birthday! We love you little man!!

Almost There!

Aiden will be 1 in just two days... :-)

The other night in the car I had a talk with the girls about Aiden turning a year old. Kaylee seemed to think that was pretty neat but Alyssa started crying and kept saying:

"But Mommy, I want him to be my Baby Aiden FOREVER!"

Me too, Alyssa. Me too. :-)

51 Weeks Old!

50 Weeks Old!

Aiden is full of new tricks these days. He loves to give kisses (lip smacks) all the time, claps his hands when you say "patty cake", pretends to talk on the phone, and waves bye-bye.

He is also quite the daredevil already. Just this past weekend he managed to fall behind the girl's toy box (only walked away for a second) and out of his crib! I have learned that I can't turn my back on him for a second and we had to put his crib on the lowest setting possible!
