Team Eve

Many of you have heard about my friend Christy's daughter, Eve. She was diagnosed with bilateral Wilms Tumor (cancer of the kidneys) in October 2009. Eve is one brave little girl and we can't wait to celebrate once she is officially done with treatments!

You can follow her story here:

49 Weeks Old!

Your two biggest accomplishments this past week were learning to clap your hands on command and blowing kisses (which is really just smacking your lips a whole lot but you are trying!).

I have learned that watching these "first's" with the third kid is just as exciting as with the first.

Love you little man!

The kids had a great time playing with their friends Georgie and Gracie this weekend. Thanks for having us over Jaime!

48 Weeks Old!

I think Daddy may be hoping that you grow up to become what he has always dreamed of...

But Mama isn't having it! No professional motorcycle riders in our family. :-)

Happy 11 Months!!

How can it be that I only have one more month until I have a 1 year old??

3 1/2 Years Old!

I just realized that I forgot to create a post for the girls turning 3 1/2 back in February.

They are such big girls and maybe it is just the mommy talking but I think they get prettier everyday!

Sending Kisses To Heaven

There are many things that I miss about my brother... almost too many to count.

But, I would have to say that the thing I miss most was how much he loved my kids. His face would light up every time he saw the girls and he would yell "Where are Uncle Rickey's buddies?" This would almost always result in squeals of laughter and lots of hugs and kisses.

I find that as time goes on the girls are talking more about their Uncle Icky. They know that he is up in heaven and apparently he is very busy making apple trees...

And although we can't give him real kisses anymore.... we can surely blow some up to him in heaven!
